形容词、副词与比较结构

形容词和副词是修饰成分，比较级和最高级是它们最重要的变化。在词汇与语法部分，这里常考三类题：该用形容词还是副词，比较级和最高级的形式怎么写，以及 as…as、than、the more…the more 这些比较句型怎么用。

学完这一节，你应该能区分形容词和副词的位置，熟练写出比较级和最高级（包括不规则变化），并能正确使用常见的比较结构。

形容词和副词有什么不同

形容词修饰名词，也可以放在系动词后面作表语；副词修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或整个句子。

词类	作用	例句
形容词	修饰名词，或放在系动词后	She is a careful student. She is careful.
副词	修饰动词、形容词、副词	She writes carefully.

多数副词由形容词加 -ly 构成：careful 变 carefully，quick 变 quickly，happy 变 happily。有些词的形容词和副词同形：fast、hard、early、late、high、far、long。

还有一些词加 -ly 以后意思完全变了，要分开记：

close	近	closely	紧密地、仔细地

look、sound、smell、taste、feel、become、get、keep、stay 等系动词后面要接形容词：The soup tastes good. 这个汤很好喝。而修饰动作用副词：He sings well. 他唱得好。

比较级和最高级怎么变

类别	规则	例词
单音节词	加 -er、-est	tall, taller, tallest
以 e 结尾	加 -r、-st	nice, nicer, nicest
重读闭音节	双写末尾辅音再加	big, bigger, biggest
辅音字母加 y	变 y 为 i 再加	happy, happier, happiest

不规则变化必须直接背：

常用的比较句型

句型	意思	例句
as + 原级 + as	和……一样	He is as tall as his father.
not as（so）+ 原级 + as	不如……	This book is not as interesting as that one.
比较级 + than	比……更	My sister is taller than I.
the + 比较级…, the + 比较级…	越……越……	The harder you work, the better results you get.
比较级 + and + 比较级	越来越……	It is getting colder and colder.
the + 最高级 + in/of…	在……中最……	He is the tallest boy in our class.
one of the + 最高级 + 复数名词	最……的之一	Shanghai is one of the biggest cities in China.

几个细节

• 修饰比较级用 much、far、a lot、even、still、a little，不能用 very：This room is much bigger than that one.
• 表示「比其他任何一个都……」：Tom is taller than any other boy in his class.（any 后面要有 other，名词用单数）
• 比较的对象要同类：The population of China is larger than that of Japan.（that 代替 the population）
• 倍数表达：This room is twice as big as that one.

易错提醒

• ❌ She sings very good. ✅ She sings very well. 因为修饰动词 sings 要用副词 well，good 是形容词。

• ❌ This question is more easy than that one. ✅ This question is easier than that one. 因为 easy 是以 y 结尾的双音节词，比较级是 easier。

• ❌ He is very taller than me. ✅ He is much taller than me. 因为 very 不能修饰比较级，要用 much、far、a lot 等。

• ❌ The weather here is better than Beijing. ✅ The weather here is better than that of Beijing. 因为比较的对象要一致，天气只能和天气比。

• ❌ It is the most best film I have seen. ✅ It is the best film I have seen. 因为 best 已经是最高级，不能再加 most。

• ❌ Tom is taller than any boys in his class. ✅ Tom is taller than any other boy in his class. 因为 Tom 本身也是班里的男孩，需要用 other 把他排除。

例题精讲

例 1 My mother cooks ___ than my father.

• A. good
• B. well
• C. better
• D. best

答案：C。 句中有 than，要用比较级；cooks 是动词，用副词 well 的比较级 better。

例 2 The more you practise, the ___ you will speak.

• A. good
• B. well
• C. better
• D. best

答案：C。 句型是 the + 比较级…, the + 比较级…，后一部分用 well 的比较级 better。

例 3 Beijing is one of the ___ cities in the world.

• A. big
• B. bigger
• C. biggest
• D. the biggest

答案：C。 句型是 one of the + 最高级 + 复数名词，the 已经在空格前面，所以只填 biggest。D 重复了 the。
